Who said pastels are only for the warmer seasons? At least, you can easily wear them during the first months of fall, when the sun is still shining and you don’t want to give in to the gloomy shades so easily. There’s no better recipe for standing out in a crowd than the season’s blush pink, baby blue powder colours, and buttercup yellow coats—but outerwear is just the beginning of this trend.

We think of pastels as spring colours, but it’s always about how you wear them. Today I chose to combine pastels with greyish-nude colours which seem to never disappoint. The padded jacket is from a brand that doesn’t even have a name and it adds a perfect layer of warmth, while lending a much-needed break from dark, wintery ensembles.
